Common Haier Refrigerator Faults
Most Haier fridge calls we receive are cooling problems caused by a failed start relay or overload on the compressor, a failed defrost heater on frost-free models, and control board faults after voltage fluctuations.
- Compressor clicking on and off: start relay or overload protector
- Freezer icing up: defrost heater, sensor or timer
- Fridge too cold or freezing vegetables: thermistor or damper fault
- Display dead or flashing: main control board or power supply
- Rattling or buzzing: loose condenser fan or compressor mounts
