LG front-loaders with Inverter Direct Drive motors are among the most popular washing machines in Dubai. The motor is bolted straight to the drum with no belt, which makes them quiet and reliable. OE is the LG code we clear most often. The pump filter behind the small door at the bottom right fills with lint, coins and hair ties, especially in homes that wash a lot of towels. LE means the motor is locked or not turning as expected. Sometimes it is just an overloaded drum or a sock trapped between drum and tub, but repeated LE errors usually point to the rotor position (Hall) sensor on the back of the motor, worn motor wiring, or a fault on the motor control board. Because the Direct Drive motor has no brushes or belt, the motor itself rarely fails. The sensor and board are more often the cause.
